Blythe Electrical Vehicles are one of the Midlands leading installers of electrical vehicle charging stations helping home owners and businesses in their quest to become greener.

Our journey to become an installer of electrical vehicle charging stations began back in 2013. Since then we have been installing both home and commercial car charging stations, as well as consulting on a range of business projects and property developments.

We are an Approved Installer for the Office of Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) so get in touch now, charging your electric car at home couldn’t be easier and more straightforward.

You must be Eligible to the Govt. Homegrant scheme, see the OLEV website for eligibility criteria. Grant applies from May 2018 until further notice as amended by OLEV.

Units are available in either a socket only or a tethered unit (with built in lead).

Why E.V?

By 2020 1 in 5 vehicles in Britain need to be electric or ultra-low emission to meet EU carbon reduction targets.

With an electric vehicle, you’d pay around £400 to travel 10,000 miles, compared to around £1,300 for petrol or diesel.

By 2040 cars with internal combustion engines will no longer be in production, and by 2050 they could disappear from the roads altogether.

Rapid charging units provide up to 80% of charge in as little as 20-30 minutes, these can be found across the country as part of the growing public charging network.
